  What is chelation?
Chelation is defined as the formation or presence of two or more separate coordinate bonds between a polydentate (multiple bonded) ligand and a single central atom. A ligand is an ion or molecule  that binds to a central metal atom to form a coordination complex (source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ligand).  Usually these ligands are organic compounds, and are called chelants, chelators, chelating agents, or sequestering agents.

The ligand forms a chelate complex with the substrate. Chelate complexes are contrasted with coordination complexes composed of monodentate ligands, which form only one bond with the central atom.

Chelants, according to ASTM-A-380, are "chemicals that form soluble, complex molecules with certain metal ions, inactivating the ions so that they cannot normally react with other elements or ions to produce precipitates or scale."

The word chelation is derived from Greek chelè, meaning claw; the ligands lie around the central atom like the claws of a lobster. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chelation).

How do we define chelation in Laymans terms?
Chelation is a medical treatment for the treatment of hardening of the arteries. Holistic practitioners are usually the ones to use this method. Chelation is also being used to treat heart disease. Below is the molecular structure.

This is the definition on Chelation Therapy as found on Wikipedia.
Chelation therapy is the administration of chelating agents to remove heavy metals from the body. For the most common forms of heavy metal intoxication—those involving lead, arsenic or mercury. The standard treatment in the United States dictates the use of dimercaptosuccinic acid (DMSA). Other chelating agents, such as dimercapto-1-propanesulfonic acid (DMPS) and alpha lipoic acid (ALA), are used in conventiuonal and alternative medicine. No approved medical research has found any benefits to chelation therapy for other diseases or ailments.

History

Chelating agents were introduced into medicine as a result of the use of poison gas in World War 1. The first widely used chelating agent, the organic dithiol compound dimercaprol  (also named British anti-lewisite or BAL), was used as an antidote to the arsenic-based poison gas, lewsite. The sulphur atoms in BAL's mercaptan groups strongly bond to the arsenic in lewisite, forming a water-soluble compound that entered the bloodstream, allowing it to be removed from the body by the kidneys and liver. BAL had severe side-effects.
After World War II, a large number of navy personnel suffered from lead poisoning as a result of their jobs repainting the hulls of ships. The medical use of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) as a lead chelating agent was introduced. Unlike BAL, it is a synthetic amino acid and contains no mercaptans. EDTA side effects were not considered as severe as BAL.
In the 1960s, BAL was modified into DMSA, a related dithiol with far fewer side effects. DMSA quickly replaced both BAL and EDTA, becoming the US standard for the treatment of lead, arsenic, and mercury poisoning, which it still remains today. More recently, esters of DMSA have been developed which are reportedly more effective; for example, the monoisoamyl ester (MiADMSA) is reportedly more effective than DMSA at clearing mercury and cadmium.

Research in the former Soviet Union led to the introduction of DMPS, another dithiol, as a mercury-chelating agent. The Soviets also introduced ALA, which is transformed by the body into the dithiol dihydrolipoic acid, a mercury- and arsenic-chelating agent. DMPS has experimental status in the US FDA, while ALA is a common nutritional supplement.
Since the 1970s, iron chelation therapy has been used as an alternative to regular phlebotomy to treat excess iron stores in people with haemochromatosis.
Other chelating agents have been discovered. They all function by making several chemical bonds with metal ions, thus rendering them much less chemically reactive. The resulting complex is water-soluble, allowing it to enter the bloodstream and be excreted harmlessly.
Calcium-disodium EDTA chelation is approved by the FDA for treating lead poisoning and heavy metal toxicity. In 1998, the U.S. FTC pursued the American College for Advancement in Medicine (ACAM), an organization that promotes "complementary, alternative and integrative medicine" over the claims made regarding the treatment of atherosclerosis in advertisements for EDTA chelation therapy. The FTC concluded that there was a lack of scientific studies to support these claims and that the statements by the ACAM were false. In 1999, the ACAM agreed to stop presenting chelation therapy as effective in treating heart disease, avoiding legal proceedings.

Cardioprim is one of the leading products on the market today for artery chelation. It is also used extensively for getting rid of bone spurs. Consider some of these examples from Cardiorpim customers.

Hi, I am a 40 year old male. I had a diving accident when I was in my early teens and had considerable pain when I turned my head in certain directions.

Eventually it no longer bothered me until I was in my early 30's. The pain started in my shoulder and traveled down my arm and into my hand. I had a hard time sleeping at night and always had to be in a certain position and often my fingers would be numb in the morning.

I started going to a chiropractor regularly. He took x-rays and found that I had a bone spur between my c6 and c7 and it was pinching my nerves in my shoulder and arm. I got some relief from my chiropractor, but the bone spur kept growing and eventually I couldn't tell much difference in the treatments.

By now I was in constant pain, I started doing research and looking into surgery. I didn't want to pay
the $15-25,000 it would cost and not be guaranteed lasting relief.

A friend forwarded me information on Cardioprim, one of the first things I noticed is it claimed to give relief to bone spur pain. So I made a phone call and it seemed too simple and too good to be true. I thought my only option was surgery.

I decided to give it a try and started on the 36 day program. By the end of the second week, I noticed considerable improvement. By the end of the fourth week I had NO pain.

WOW!!! I finished the program, and to say I was excited was an understatement!! I was ecstatic after living in pain for almost 10 years. It is now 9 months later and I am still pain free! I am thankful to the Lord for this great product! THANK-YOU CARDIOPRIM!

What Cardioprim Customers Had to Say…
Here are all the positive things I have noticed since taking Cardioprim. (there were no negatives). First thing I noticed: All my aches pains and stiffness went. Really noticeable in the morning. Getting up was effortless. I slept soundly and did not wake until the alarm, didn't even need to get up in the night to use the bathroom. I felt really rested after a night sleep. Walking was a breeze, no cramps or leg pains even after long walks. The tinnitus from my ear surgery was gone. I could lay in bed in silence. Amazing. My eyesight is better, not perfect but noticeably improved. I don't get eye strain reading like I did. I am more supple and flexible, I can get down on the floor with the grandchildren and stand up again with no stiffness or needing to steady myself. I don't get breathless or tachycardic at all when walking and exercising. My libido has returned-everything is fully operational. I have a better appetite and feel full quicker so eat less. An annoying pain I got under my right rib cage when bending has gone. My TSH levels are actually going up. My B12 level, always a problem and probably a family thing is now normal. All my blood tests came back well within the normal range, a year ago I wasn't good in some areas. I have lost weight and it has now leveled out. My skin is now a lovely pink. My hands are softer and the skin on my hands seems thicker and younger looking. I used to have dry hair, same with my skin. My natural oils have returned. The hair on my legs has grown back. I don't have bald shiny old man legs anymore. My problem with bright light has gone, no idea what that was or where it came on. Sunshine now actually gives me a buzz. I just feel full of energy compared to how I was.
I could go on but it's only minutiae really from now. I feel a good 20 years younger. The downward spiral is so subtle and gradual you don't realize how much you have deteriorated until you feel such a sudden upsurge in your health and physical condition. Then you realize just how badly you had sunk.

I’ve known Patricia since 2004. When she joined Cardioprim as director of sales and recommended it for my Dad, I trusted her. My 73 year old Dad Roy clearly needed it.
I ordered 36 days worth and we both couldn’t wait for him to get started on it. He suffers from extreme shortness of breath, COPD, heart failure, has five stents, high blood pressure, diabetes, and has had one heart attack so far, is in A-fib most of the time and has had numerous hospital stays with congestive heart failure. So as you can see, we would not describe him as the picture of health.
We both thought he would embrace this new product and be extremely happy to rid himself of these issues. But no, he dug his heels in and wouldn’t even try it. Patricia says if you look up “stubborn” in the dictionary it says “see Roy Callahan”. I was heart broken, (no pun intended). Hospital stays, doctor insisting he’d be blind my Christmas- didn’t seem to change his mind. My brother, on the other hand, said “Hey, I’ll take his Cardioprim!” My brother has such high blood pressure that when he goes to the doctor’s office, they call an ambulance to stand by. About a month of Cardioprim was all it took- my brother is off all his medication, has normal blood pressure and feels like a million.
I let my brother brag about how good he feels and all the energy he has. Then I gently said to Dad, “Too bad, you could be feeling as good as your son but I gave him your Cardioprim.” That was all it took. We ordered another 36 days for him. I’m happy to report the changes after 36 days. Before Cardioprim, Dad’s heart rate was 135 beats per minute. After Cardioprim 85 beats per minute. His blood pressure had come down so much his doctor lowered his medication to half. Before Cardioprim his glucose reading was typically 300 and often 400. After Cardioprim it’s been a steady 120 . His shortness of breath is gone. He’s able to drive and do errands by himself. Before Cardioprim it was out of the question. He has been on Cardioprim for 36 days. He was scheduled for a heart cath due to 95% blocked arteries but we have postponed it due to his complete turn around in health. Not one episode of A-fib. He’s also dropped six pounds of water weight. Of course his doctor had said “That stuff doesn’t work”. Yesterday when he cut all his meds in half, I said “Looks like the Cardioprim is working.” The silence was deafening.
I’m delighted to have my Dad and brother feeling so well. We’re hoping with perhaps another 12 days of Cardioprim Dad’ll be able to get off all his meds. I’ll let you know!
Update:
Just got back from the eye doctor with Dad. The doc couldn’t figure out why there was no new damage to his eyes and why his condition was not as severe as he originally diagnosed. He just couldn’t fathom that Dad’s eyes actually improved. Another doctor said “Don’t tell me what you’re doing. I don’t want to know. But whatever it is, keep it up, it’s working great.”

The following is what I feel are the results of using Cardioprim. Prior to using the Cardioprim, I had cold feet, cracked skin on my hands to the point where I had to keep them bandaged to get them to heal and was slightly sluggish. A week into using the Cardioprim, I could see a change in my skin. It seemed to be healing more quickly and I didn't have to wear socks to bed to keep my feet warm. Today I don't have any skin cracks on my hands, however I do have a stockpile of bandaids that I do not need right now. As far as my feet are concerned, they are warm and fine. The sluggishness that I had felt has also abated. I now go swimming 4 times a week and do some walking and biking (which I could not do a year ago). Right now I'm loving my life.

21 Year Old’s experience My name is Chase. I am only 21 and was born with a heart defect, transparent of the greater artery. I have a hole in my heart and my heart is enlarged.
I took the Cardioprim for 32 days. I have to say, the after affect is GREATLY worth the endurance of the month that awaits you during the program.
Before Cardioprim, running up the stairs or even walking was a huge toll on my breathing . It would have been ten minutes of gasping and heart pounding. I was having huge arrhythmia problems . My heart would flutter dramatically, to the point that they became life threatening and lasted hours. This was accompanied by nausea. During Cardioprim, I had a total of two serious episodes. Since then, I haven’t had any. What is amazing about this is the fact that I was having episodes several times a day lasting up to two to three hours as I mentioned. Cardioprim has changed my life and for the first time, I feel great and optimistic for the future. Anyone having any issues with their heart I urge you to consider Cardioprim first! I would like to thank those responsible for the making and distributing this wonderful product and sharing it with me. I feel as though Cardioprim has saved my life.

I'm 57 and over the years (aside from watching my waist expand) I have been observing my blood pressure rise. Then I noticed that I was starting to have chest pains, getting tired easily and having symptoms of reduced circulation in my body. This got me a bit nervous. Being a computer geek, I got onto the internet and started searching for some type of solution. Being a Skeptical sort, when I came across the Cardioprim web site, I didn't believe it. So I did a search on the American Heart Association Forum web site using the word "Cardioprim" and I discovered that most all of the people that had actually USED it said it worked. So I took the plunge and got some. I used it and it worked on the chest pain. It worked on the tiredness. Even the tingling in my extremities, from poor circulation had gone away. But something else happened. It worked in a way that I did not expect. I hope
you will forgive me for not going into great and elaborate detail about this, but it definitely helped my romantic life as well. Definitely!
Sincerely, Mark F.

How lucky can one get . . . ? A friend of mine in Mexico introduced me to this miracle cleansing elixir called Cardioprim. After two days of artery cleaning with Cardioprim I noticed the tangible results in the toilet bowl and felt so much better with more energy than I've had in years. My skin has tightened up as if I were back in my 40's and my step is a little more lively. By the way there are other beneficial benefits in the Libido area. Try it and satisfy yourself of the positive results.
Sincerely, Joseph Bryant This formula helped me reduce my blood pressure down to normal and helped greatly with my circulation. My energy level is, also, much more dynamic.
Sincerely, Hugh B.

  1. It is $750 dollars for 48 days worth. Here is the link to the website http://www.cardioprim.com/ Usually a person can use it for 36 days and have their problems taken care of, with only once or twice a month usage for maintenance. If you are interested, tell them that newstart blogspot sent you.

    Thanks for your interest, Eric
